Eating before a training session will help provide your body with the essential energy it needs to perform at its very best. But, how do you know what to eat? You want to make sure you don’t eat something that will upset your stomach and hinder your performance. Thirty to sixty minutes before a training session grab a simple, easy to digest carb.
You should also practice eating before training sessions. Try different simple carbs, at different times within the 30-60 minute prior window to see what your body responds to best. That way, you will have that snack ready as your go- to before your game, match, or competition.
