We are into the second week of the New Year now and many people have already fallen off any goal they set a few days ago.
When it comes to setting a goal, routine, or habit for myself one of my favorite lessons to return to is that discipline = freedom. This lesson comes from Jocko Willink, a former Navy Seal commander. I highly recommend watching the clip above, but his point is fairly simple.
If you desire the ability to do what you want or achieve meaningful goals you have to discipline yourself. Only through holding yourself accountable to work efficiently, stay off social media, avoid buying junk food, or… {fill in the blank} will you have the ability and opportunity to do what you TRULY want.
